Gonesh, an incense company and a longtime client of ours, came to us with an exciting opportunity that had been offered to them: a partnership with a minor league baseball team that would include running a 30 second ad for Gonesh on the videoboard during every home game for the 2018 season.
We started off by reviewing the Gonesh trade show video, looking for clips to use in the new spot. We then started storyboarding an entirely original concept, focusing on a baseball theme to connect with the audience in the stadium. We wrote a script and then used photos, product images, and motion graphics to entice attendees to purchase the various packs of incense.
Once the video was completed, it was shown during Northwest Arkansas Naturals baseball games. The first time it premiered, Gonesh also gave out samples of the product at the game to increase brand awareness. This partnership helps Gonesh not only increase brand awareness to the audience in Springdale, Arkansas (where the team’s stadium is located), but since the Walmart headquarters is located in nearby Bentonville and is affiliated with the park, the strong bond between the two companies is also reinforced.
